As the founding partner of the Parametric Human Project, Autodesk Research is excited about creating a new international group of researchers pursuing the development of an advanced multiscale parametric digital human biomechanical model. From basic research to applying innovations from related fields, we want to foster an open shared knowledge-base for real anatomical data and models.
FARO develops and markets computer-aided measuring equipment and software for creating digital 3D models. The equipment enables highly precise 3D measurements, 3D comparisons of small and large parts and components directly in production, factory planning, and as-built documentation - like specialized applications in mechanical engineering, accident research and documentation, and heritage.
